Stephanie Anderson, Biggest Loser Star, Talks Co-Parenting Baby Dillon With Ex-Husband Sam Poue

Biggest Loser's Stephanie Anderson tells Us Weekly exclusively about her post-baby weight loss regimen Fresh Mommy, baby Dillon, and her co-parenting with ex-husband Sam Poue

With a new baby comes new changes! Stephanie Anderson, a contestant on the ninth season of The Biggest Loser, is settling in after giving birth to son Dillon in July, and is already getting back into tip-top shape by getting involved in the diet delivery program Fresh Mommy by Freshology.

"Freshology has been something I've used for years actually," she exclusively revealed to Us Weekly. "I found them in 2009, and before Biggest Loser, when I was close to 300 pounds, I started the program and in 10 weeks I lost 30 pounds."

The reality star stopped the program once she joined the weight-loss competition series, but started it up again after gaining 65 pounds during her pregnancy with baby Dillon.

"I don't feel deprived at all. And Fresh Mommy has some extra snacks and breakfast so I feel like I'm constantly eating," she continued. "That's something from Biggest Loser, that was what they wanted you to feel. You should feel like you're always eating because your metabolism is going and you're not depriving your body of the nutrients it needs."

Anderson is still on maternity leave, but she plans to eventually return to her job as a commission salesperson at CBS. In the meantime, she's enjoying just spending time with her little tot, and learning to co-parent with ex-husband Sam Poue. The two married in April 2012 after meeting on the NBC series, but separated in May 2013 while Anderson was seven months pregnant. Poue was in the delivery room when she gave birth. "We definitely are working to co-parent Dillon and it's been a really positive experience," she told Us. "When it comes to Dillon [Sam is] definitely creating a bond with him, a father/son bond, and he's a great help."

"We're taking it one day at a time right now, and the great thing is, I can separate my own feelings," she said of their relationship. "[Dillon is] the bigger picture. He's the most important thing to me – and to Sam. I really, truly believe that we both want only what's best for this baby and this baby was created in love." She added: "Unexpected things happened and I don't know what the future holds but I'm grateful every day that Dillon is here."

Dillon — who Anderson says looks more like Sam Poue — is the prime focus. "He's really just a joy. He's got such a great temperament. He's a very chill baby," she shared. "Regardless of what happens, I always want the best for Sam, and I want the best for me, but I want to make sure it's the best I can do in that moment for my son."
