Tallulah Willis Shaved Her Head After Watching Mom Demi Moore in G.I. Jane

Tallulah Willis Shaved Her Head After Watching G.I. Jane
Tallulah Willis shaved her head just two days after watching her mom's famous movie G.I. Jane: "It may have manifested the idea in my mind," she says -- see stunning new photos of the scion here.

Most definitely like mother, like daughter. Tallulah Willis revealed in Nylon‘s May 2015 issue that her recent head-shaving experience was, in fact, influenced by her mom Demi Moore‘s famous scene in G.I. Jane.

“I thought, if I could feel beautiful with no hair, then I will literally feel good in any situation,” the 20 year old reflected. “I actually watched G.I. Jane two days before I shaved my head. I don’t think I was 100 percent inspired by it, but I think it may have manifested the idea in my mind.”

In fact, Willis’ head was shaved by her superstar mom this past January. Tallulah shared a video via Instagram of the process, calling it “mommy-daughter bonding activities.”

While she’s now accustomed to the public eye, growing up with celebrity parents was a dramatic experience for Tallulah, as well as her sisters Rumer and Scout. “[There was an emphasis on] being hidden,” Bruce and Demi’s daughter noted. “Not because we had anything to hide, but because my parents wanted to protect us.”

The result? “Now I don’t have a conscious thought process of like, ‘I’m putting something out there that is shocking or not shocking,'” she noted. “I did this video one night and I was looking normal, and then I made this weird face because I thought it was really funny. But then I was like, ‘Damn, I can’t believe Daily Mail just posted that.'”

“I’m in the very early stages of setting up a web series or talk show,” she told Nylon. “Like an Oprah/Ellen hybrid for young people. I’ve always had a desire to speak very candidly with people and speak very brashly about subjects that are rarely ever spoken about.”

The May 2015 issue of Nylon hits newsstands on April 28.
