Teresa Giudice Keeping Kids "Protected" After Guilty Plea, Thanks Fans for Support
Focused on her family! Two days after pleading guilty to fraud charges, Teresa Giudice shared an update with her fans on how she's coping. The Real Housewives of New Jersey star thanked her Twitter followers for their support on Thursday, March 6.
"Thank you all for your love & support of my family & my kids," Teresa, 41, wrote. "You know how much they mean to me. I am keeping them protected & private.xx."
The Bravo star and husband Joe, 43, both pleaded guilty to several counts of fraud on Tuesday, March 4. The spouses -- parents to daughters Gia, 13, Gabrielle, 9, Milania, 8, and Audriana, 4 -- now face prison time, and Joe, an Italian citizen, potentially faces deportation.
Following their court appearance on Tuesday, Teresa denied reports that she told her children about her guilty plea while Bravo filmed the sixth season of RHONJ. "It was private thank you. Xx," she tweeted.
Indeed, a source tells Us Weekly that the Giudices "don't want that genuine, private, vulnerable moment with the kids captured on film forever."
Since pleading guilty, Teresa was spotted running errands in her pajamas near her home in Towaco, N.J., on Wednesday, March 5. "Teresa was of course upset Tuesday, but then she got right back into running errands and being a mom and a wife," the insider tells Us. "Life doesn't stop. She and Joe are doing well, considering."
