The Vampire Diaries' Paul Wesley: I'm a "Very Lucky" Newlywed

Paul Wesley doesn't just play a hopeless romantic on The Vampire Diaries -- he's a bit of a softie in real life, too.

The 29-year-old wed Pretty Little Liars actress Torrey DeVitto in April, and Wesley's been counting his blessings ever since.

"I'm just a very lucky guy -- very lucky," Wesley told Us Weekly at Spike TV's Scream Awards on Saturday. "I don't know why she went for me, but somehow a girl liked me for longer than a month!"

The actor -- who met DeVitto, 27, on the set of 2008's horror comedy Killer Movie -- was hesitant to share details surrounding their spring ceremony. "That's got to remain my own little secret," he said politely.

Wesley was, however, much happier to talk about his role on The Vampire Diaries, currently in its third season. "I love where my character is going," he told Us. "He's gotten really dark. I've been playing this sort of hero for two years and now...it's pretty fantastic."

Let's hope that Paul and Torrey stick together. They score 19 points on the iphone compatibility App AstroPal - not bad, but could be much better. Leos and Geminis get on really well with each other, but their Moon signs (Libra & Virgo) are no help at all.

They are adorable! I never knew they were a couple. He sounds like such a sweet, caring guy. I am definitely liking his character this season. The Ripper is hot! Although it was sad when he called Elaina just to hear her voice and looked so sad =(. Plus, now it gives Damon a chance with Elaina!!

wow, this is really cool, i mean his marriage, but i don't like the way he is in the vampire diaries now! it is a little bit weird , i want the old stefan back!
