Tough cookies! Travis Browne claimed that he's in a relationship with fellow UFC fighter Ronda Rousey during an appearance on The MMA Hour talk show on Monday, Oct. 12.
Browne says that the two began talking over the summer. In July, Browne's ex-girlfriend Jenna Renee Webb accused him of domestic abuse. An investigation was conducted, however, and no evidence was found.
"Dating is for children. Dating is for kids. Over the summer, through all the sh-t that I had to shuffle through, that I had to sift through, Ronda and I started talking throughout the summer and I’ll say now that we are together," Browne, 33, said. "She’s my woman and I’m her man. There’s no boyfriend, girlfriend stuff. There’s no dating. We’re together."
Browne and Rousey, 28, have been teammates at L.A.'s Glendale Fighting Club for over a year. Rumors that the two were an item began this past August. Not long after, in September, Rousey agreed to be Marine Jarrod Haschert's date to the Marine Corps Ball.
"I know her as one of the hardest-working athletes that I’ve ever seen, in this gym busting her butt on a daily basis," Browne said Monday. "And through our own personal experiences of how compassionate and really how much of a sweetheart she really is."
He added: "That’s what a lot of people don’t see out of her. They see that, but they don’t really get to experience that."
