From on-screen costars to partners for life! Tyler Hilton and Megan Park said “I do” before an intimate gathering of friends and family in Malibu Canyon, Calif., on Saturday, Oct. 10, Us Weekly can exclusively report.
“It was everything we wanted it to be and it was so nice after so many years together to finally celebrate our relationship with all of our friends and family,” Park tells Us Weekly. “It’s nice to have everyone we love in one place finally for all these years to celebrate our love for each other.”
"We've both always wondered if a wedding would be worth doing when we've loved each other so much for so long already," the couple told Us. "But to see all our different groups and families making friends with each other and supporting us was overwhelming beyond what we ever would have expected!! We were our most honest and open selves in front of the people the meant the most to us. It was a priceless evening, to say the least and we've got big stupid smiles on our faces this morning!"
The couple's pal, actress Missi Pyle, officiated, and their castmates, including Shailene Woodley and Zoe Kazan, were in attendance.
The pair, who first met on the set of 2007’s Charlie Bartlett, kept things sweet and simple for their fall-themed fete, which featured a maid of honor, a best man, but no bridesmaids or groomsmen.
“We felt like there were so many people that we would want to have, include in it, but we decided to sort of keep it simple and just have a maid of honor and best man and be happy that everybody else was there,” Park, 29, explains to Us.
The happy couple exchanged personalized vows at an indoor venue at the Triunfo Creek Vineyards before bringing the celebration and dancing outdoors.
“We have a lot of barbecues and hangs with our friends and family and we wanted this to kind of feel the same way, but just at this winery,” Hilton, 31, explains. The evening included a food truck, a bluegrass band, and even ping-pong tables for the guests. “We just kind of were throwing a little party that we’d want to be at!”
The One Tree Hill actor and the Secret Life of the American Teenager actress announced their engagement in January 2014, and have been keeping busy with their respective careers ever since.
Hilton, who is also a musician, will kick off his country music tour in December, and Park will next star opposite Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Aaron Paul, and Kevin Hart in comedy Central Intelligence, which is due out next June.
