Willie Robertson Jokes About Officiating Jason Aldean's Wedding
Willie Robertson joked on The Tonight Show that witnesses probably thought that he was a random "homeless guy" while officiating Jason Aldean's wedding to Brittany Kerr.

Barefoot and bearded! Duck Dynasty’s Willie Robertson and his wife Korie appeared on The Tonight Show on Tuesday, Mar. 31, where they discussed his recent stint officiating Jason Aldean‘s beach wedding to Brittany Kerr.

Host Jimmy Fallon first held up a copy of Us Weekly‘s April 6 issue, which featured exclusive first photos of the bride and groom from their seaside wedding, plus an extensive interview with the couple — including Aldean’s explanation for why he chose the Duck Dynasty star to preside over the ceremony.

“Saw that you have another job,” Fallon noted, as he pointed to page 43 of the issue. “You’re also doing weddings?!”

“I’ve been hired a couple times,” Robertson replied with a smile. “That was for my good friend, Jason, we were down in Mexico. I love the people that were on the beach, and I wonder what they were thinking. Like, ‘Where’d you get the homeless guy to do this?’ I don’t look like a minister.”

As evidenced in one exclusive snapshot from the nuptials, Robertson wears a casual white shirt, khakis, and a bandana that secures his bushy hair and full beard while he officiates the March 21 ceremony.

Aldean told Us in the issue that Robertson was his ideal choice for presiding minister.

“I wanted it to be someone I was close to and admire,” the “Burnin’ It Down” hitmaker explained, and who better than his friend of eight years? The country superstar and the TLC reality star first met through hunting buddies, and have maintained a close friendship.

Meanwhile, Robertson told Us: “I was honored Jason asked me to be a part of this special ceremony. I’m glad to see him tie the knot.”
