They get an A for amicable. Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Yolanda Foster addressed her shocking divorce from David Foster via Twitter on Wednesday, Dec. 2, and wrote that all is fine between them.

“We’ve grown apart,” the former model, 51, wrote to her fans. “But my love & respect for @officialdfoster is still the same, he’s been very good 2 me so pls don’t judge our journey!”

Yolanda and David confirmed to Us Weekly in a joint statement on Tuesday, Dec. 1, that their four-year marriage was over. “We are grateful for the years we’ve spent together and believe wholeheartedly that we did our best,” the pair told Us. “I hope that we can pave the road ahead of us with all we’ve learned and with the love and respect we will always have for one another.”

A source previously told Us that the couple have “been separated for months,” but in the interim, were trying to figure out how to handle their breakup in the public eye. The insider said that both the Dutch model and the Grammy-winning producer, 66, “knew it wouldn’t work,” although they attempted to pave out their issues.

Distance, busy work schedules, and Yolanda’s longtime, debilitating struggle with Lyme disease were ultimately factors in their marital split.

“Things got really bad when she got sick. She didn’t think he was there for her,” another source told Us. “He would take off for days at a time.” (Indeed, David’s absence during her health travails was noted on the Season 6 premiere of RHOB, which aired hours after the couple’s bombshell announcement.)

Divorce aside, Yolanda reiterated on Wednesday that her main mission is finding a cure for Lyme disease. “One day soon I hope to have the ability to write about uncovering the mystery of this chronic disease and share with you the true depth of my story,” she wrote on Tuesday after the premiere. “But until then I am just a housewife on a mission with laser focus on one thing and one thing only…my health! I have faith that God often uses our deepest pain as the launching pad of our greatest calling.”
