ZOMG, Zayn! Former One Direction band member Zayn Malik and his fiancee, Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards, have ended their engagement, his rep confirms to Us Weekly.

A source tells Us that Malik, 22, initiated the split two weeks ago, and told his longtime love, also 22, that they were done.

“She’s devastated and torn up,” the Edwards pal tells Us.

A second source close to Malik, who also severed ties with One Direction back in March, said the singer simply wants a fresh start. "He just wanted to move on and start over in all ways," the insider tells Us.

The same source tells Us that the exes are currently in L.A., but they are not meeting up.

Malik and Edwards got engaged in August 2013. The Little Mix member stood by her fiancé earlier this year when he announced his shocking exit from the British boy band. His dedication to the relationship, at the time, was cited as a contributing factor in his departure.

In June, Malik — who also has a very large tattoo of Edwards' face on his upper arm — was accused of cheating on his fiancee. At the time, he vehemently denied the rumors, tweeting: "I'm 22 years old... I love a girl named Perrie Edwards. And there's a lot of jealous f--ks in this world I'm sorry for what it looks like x."

Just last week, Malik boasted about his fresh start in a series of tweets.
