Sunnie and Ashley: not everything needs to be bad in this world... it's awful what happened in the tornado... but the wedding was planned well before it hit... what were they suppose to do, postpone it??? It is nice to have happiness in our lives too you know. If it was someone famous in the US it would be a different story. If you don't like it, don't read the papers or google it on the internet. It was a beautiful wedding and I hope they are very happy together.

I throughly enjoyed this wedding, it was a storybook sight, beautiful and more realistic from the royal wedding I've seen in the past

William and Kate are in love and set a standard for all couples who chose to spend their life together the royal way.

God bless Wills and Kate...they deserve to be happy, royals or not...they're still human beings with simple hopes and dreams:)

What a glorious day for Prince William and his bride Kate Middleton. It was a perfect venue and a perfect ceremony. I am 64 years old now and have seen the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II, the wedding of Prince Charles and Lady Diana and now the wedding of their first born son. I'm not a royal freak but I do realize I have witnessed something rare and beautiful and am all the better for it. I wish them all good things in the years to come. Congratulations!

I wouldn't expect American's to understand (sunnie), they are nothing to the USA as the USA is not part of the Commonwealth. You're entitled to your opinion sunnie, but if you seem to be so anti the whole thing, why are you commenting on this page??

  • April 29, 2011 - 8:38pm Ashley Strom Messner

I agree with Sunnie to a point. This royal wedding is way too much pop culture, I'm sorry. Yes it's a big part of world history, there's no doubt about that, but when something like this overshadows the terrible things happening in our own country (the south and the tornadoes killing so many people, for example), now that's sad.

"man of honour"? is that what you call Best Man in the US?

  • April 29, 2011 - 5:45pm Maureen Burgess

HEY SUNNIE WE ALL HAVE LIVES AND LIVE THEM TO THE FULLEST MAYBE YOU JUST NEED TO CHILL OUT AND CRAWL BACK INTO MISERY. THOSE TWO YOUNG PEOPLE BROUGHT HAPPINESS TO MORE OF EARTHS POPULATION THAN YOU CAN IMAGINE. EVEN A MOMENTS ANTICIPATION AND HAPPINESS IS BETTER THAN NONE.WHAT HAVE YOU DONE FOR THE WORLD LATELY.OH THATS RIGHT YOU B!!!!!!!!

I thought watching the wedding was watching history,it may not be American history but it is world history. I also thought that your comment was uncalled for Sunnie

  • April 29, 2011 - 4:41pm Christa Bruederlin

what is you problem sunnie. little jealous are we? your comment is uncalled for. get a life.

Good it's over!! Can we all get on with our lives now? Oh, that's right we are going to have to hear all about their honeymoon, then it will be the speculating of the baby bump and when Kate does get pregnant, the world will have to stop to follow her pregnancy and birth of her kid...enough already!!!
