Beyonce is known for her artistry, but on Halloween, she took it to the next level, dressing up as famed Mexican painter Frida Kahlo at a party at Charlie Bird in NYC.
Though she didn't give herself a unibrow, the "Flawless" singer, 33, did match one of Kahlo's most iconic looks perfectly in a blue printed dress with a colorful flower crown.
Kahlo, the wife of fellow painter Diego Rivera, was best known for her slightly surreal self portraits. She died at age 47 in 1954, but endured as a feminist icon to many, including Madonna and Salma Hayek, who played her in a 2002 biopic.
The day before, Queen Bey posed with her daughter Blue Ivy, 2, as Janet Jackson (from her Rhythm Nation days) to her little one's Michael. She posted the sweet photo on her Instagram account, giving Blue a kiss on the cheek.
Beyonce and her hubby Jay Z recently returned to their home in New York after spending several weeks traveling through Europe following the end of their On the Run Tour in Paris in mid-September.
