You better work, bitch! Britney Spears turned heads on the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards red carpet on Sunday, August 28, in a sexy little black dress.
The pop princess, 34, looked incredible in a one-shouldered, body-hugging LBD, which she paired with black heels. Spears even showed off some underboob through the stunning number’s diagonal cutout slit, which stretched across her chest and down to her left hip.
“So ready for this night #VMAs,” Spears captioned a backstage Instagram shot of herself in the LBD on Sunday night.
Later in the evening, the “Toxic” entertainer is set to take the VMAs stage for the first time in nearly a decade to perform her new single “Make Me…” (from her ninth album, Glory) with rapper G-Eazy.
Spears admitted earlier this week that she was nervous to make her return to the star-studded affair following her underwhelming “Gimme More” performance at the 2007 VMAs.
“Every time I’ve performed [at the VMAs], it’s always been one of those really big, nerve-racking experiences, and the people that come — those celebrities — are just so much fun and different,” she told 103.5 KTU on Friday, August 26. “I still get very nervous!”
The VMAs staple’s longtime manager, Larry Rudolph, however, insists she’s ready to slay viewers once again. “She’s like the queen of the VMAs,” he recently told The Los Angeles Times. “Probably three or four of the most iconic moments in MTV history are of her at the VMAs. We’re very mindful of that and respectful of the platform.”
