“I get internet hate in #MyCalvins"? Commenters are calling Calvin Klein's latest ad in its “I ___ in #mycalvins" series out for being "creepy."
"Take a peek at Klara Kristin through Harley Weir's lens #mycalvins," the fashion label wrote via Instagram on May 9, along with an up-the-dress shot of the 22-year-old Danish model in which her underwear was clearly visible. The photo was overlaid with provocative text reading, "I flash in #mycalvins."
The reaction was intense and immediate, with nearly every commenter putting the intimates campaign on blast. "Awful ad. Your concept looks predatory. This 'up skirt' photo invites men to do this to women. Disrespectful," one Twitter user wrote. "I get that @calvinklein likes to 'go there', push the envelope and show too much skin but this is just creepy and too far. Not ok in my book," wrote another.
Even more of the Twitterverse believes the pic to be "pervy" for another reason. "She looks all of 12 years old…sick," one Instagram user responded. "I'd throw up in #mycalvins," Faith Lee wrote via Twitter. "Child porn? I don't understand how this is ok?"
While many wrote about the "#sickening" image, some commenters didn't see what the problem was. "Nothing wrong with this photo. Great marketing, no illicit content," an Instagram user said. "Welcome to the new world, get used to it."

Wow. It's like I'm looking up the skirt of my little niece. Exactly what audience are you trying to target? Disgusting.

I love seeing people explode at an underwear ad, from a company that has always run underwear ads. Current year has problems.
