Looks like Hudson had a change of heart. An insider says in the new issue of Us Weekly that a plastic surgeon performed a small breast augmentation on the actress, 30, in late March. And the mom to son Ryder, 6, looked noticeably fuller on top while poolside in Miami on April 9.

Explains another source, "Kate makes jokes about her boobs, but her chest has always been one of her biggest insecurities."
Hudson's rep did not return requests for comment.

286I'm sad that Kate had implants! She is beautiful with or without. She has a special spirit. I also had small breast and now I am dying from them. I have been ill for 37 years. Doctors don't tell us the truth about how anything foreign in the body causes inflammation which causes many diseases! Would we implant an IV bag in our chest over our lungs-heart-stomach-liver? Why a breast implant? They are deadly!
Good for Kate Hudson! She looked prepubescent. Who can blame her for not wanting to have "a little something up there." The implants are a very "modest" size, especially by Hollywood standards. Her clothes will fit and look better. It's not all about insecurity.
All women have a right to wanting to be secure with their looks. Kate barely even had boobs, and I know no women no matter how famous or gorgeous is really happy with it. Hell I'm barely even a B and I hate it. She has a right to her boobs, and everyone should respect it.

I think it's great that she got implants done! It doesn't change how she is as a person.... except she might be happier now! If I could afford it, I would do it too, I know what it's like to not have tops fit correctly bc I am small up top, so i say YAY KATE!!! It is her body!

I had a strong reaction to the print in your magazine, "Whose jeans would you rather wear?" With regards to both Britney Spears and Jessica Simpson they both are famous, talented women but both are not mentally challenged with an illness such as Britneys. I salute them both for their courage to try holding their heads high and walking forward. God Bless you both!
I like the girl, is funny and has charisma, but i believe she was less superficial,well is absolutely reduced the persons that had an strong mind to not get influenced by the pression of any thing.I just hope not to get obsessed with this. Hurra Skeleton Key!!

Find it so hilarious and yet aggravating that this is just an article as usual, no spin, no malice, no hate about a boob job, and yet in the very same website, we have an instigating article about whether Sara Palin got a boob job or not, and then the hate mongering, yellow journalism begins, but sweet little Kate Hudson, why, gee, she's just trying to feel more confident about herself.Only the stupid amongst us believe there is no media bias for Republicans and Democrats.
wow! there is a lot of comments about someone choosing to change their body. Kate and all the other stars have insecurities just like the rest of us. to say I am disappointed because i have small breast 2 is showing your own insecurities. if you are happy with yourself you wouldn't compare yourself to anyone just because they are a star. they put their pants on the same as you, they get hurt, cry, have bad days, and have insecurities just like the rest of us. and i am sure that she would be hurt if she read all of the negative things said about her. gvie her a break. just be happy for her.
everyone has insecurites... but its not right. I want bigger boobs, just cant afford it. Honestly, Kate was my favorite actress because it seemed like she didnt care in her acting. In fools gold she wears thin clothing and no bra, so if she was "sooo" insecure, she would have never had the guts no to put a simple bra on. I looked up to her because she was small chested like myself. i just see her as another actress now and wasting money on themselves instead of donating it. The oil spill for example, but instead the world obviously needs bigger boobs instead of clean water and healthy animals.
I don't understand why there are so many negative comments here. She is like any other woman - she has her own insecurities, just like the rest of us. She wanted bigger boobs, and she got them. Hoorah for her, now we can move on. I say to hell with it - if you need to do something drastic to up your confidence meter then why not go ahead and do it right? Meh, whateve.
Kind of disappointed to hear that Kate might have added a lil oomph. Being small chested myself, I completely understand why she did it. Oomph or no oomph she is still one of my favorite actresses.
I don't think this is a boob job. Kate has visibly gained a few pounds (unless she also got an "upper arm job" to plump up her arms and make them look less skeletal)than god, and looking much healthier (she used to look gaunt)...it's natural that your boobs go up pretty much the same as Kate's did if you've gained weight, it looks proportional to her extra weight...Which -I cannot emphazise this enough- looks FABULOUS on her!
Yes, to all those who are disappointed. I've always thought she looked great, and actually made flat chested woman sexy. Athletic bodies are just sometimes like that. Now, she looks like the rest. I still like her as an actress but wish she was more confident than that. Why can runway models be beautiful and flat chested but movie stars can't? It's weird.
Can't you see from the "after" photo that her belly is a lot bigger too. Maybe she's pregnant!
