Jean Paul Gaultier Pays Tribute to Amy Winehouse at Paris Fashion Week

It's been just six months since Amy Winehouse passed away at the age of 27, and her legacy is still going strong, not just in music.

Channeling her iconic style, fashion designer Jean Paul Gaultier put on his Haute Couture runway show in Paris Wednesday with models dressed as the late singer -- strong winged black eyeliner, beehive hairstyle and all!

"Amy Winehouse was a true style icon. What she stands for above all, is uniqueness. Both in music and the way she dressed, she mixed a great many influences to create her style," Gaultier told AFP reporters backstage at his runway show.

Winehouse's July 23 passing was ruled "death by misadventure," according to a coroner's statement in October. "She had consumed sufficient alcohol...and the unintended consequence of such potentially fatal levels was her sudden and unexpected death."
