Balmain’s army just got mini soldiers! The French fashion house’s creative director Olivier Rousteing already dresses North West and, come June, fashionable kids around the world.
Balmain will launch its first children’s line, the brand announced on Monday, January 25. The 55-piece collection, created in-house, will be for boys and girls ages 6 to 14 and feature designs shown by the brand on the runway in the past five years. Pieces form the collection will be available in Balmain boutiques and at Balmain.com.
“These are the same looks that, over the years, moms and dads have repeatedly pleaded with me to produce for their kids,” Rousteing said in a statement.
But don’t expect prices to be comparable to Balmain’s last high-profile collaboration, aka Balmain x H&M. A sleeveless, patterned tee from the children’s line will run you $205, while nearly $6,000 will get you an embroidered black dress.
