Now that's some industry influence!
It's no secret that Kate Middleton harbors a highly coveted closet, and now the very in-demand Reiss dress she wore in May is being replicated by Banana Republic.
The brand's "Kate Sheath" is a cotton/lyrca blend and hits above the knee and has the same figure-flattering panel detail and cap sleeves, just like the original, and is available in both "almond" (a nude) and black.
While the form-fitting Reiss original would have cost you $340, Banana Republic's version retails for just $130 (bananarepublic.com).
After photos of the 30-year-old Duchess donning the design while meeting President Barack Obama and Michelle Obama at Buckingham Palace hit the web, fans worldwide were anxious to get her look.
A Reiss spokesperson told the Washington Post that their website traffic spiked by more than 300 percent as a result of Kate's dress, called the "Shola."
