She may be 38 with three children—the youngest of which, Bear, she gave birth to just five months ago—but Kate Winslet radiates more beauty, grace, and poise than ever in the June/July 2014 issue of Harper's Bazaar, which hits stands on May 27.
The British Oscar winner went edgy on the cover in a black leather strapless dress with slicked back hair, and for the inside pages, she stripped down for a more glamorous (and sexy) look.
Just months after giving birth, Winslet sported some lacy lingerie, which showed off plenty of cleavage underneath an elegant peacoat. The Lancome spokeswoman's makeup looked bold and classic as her blonde locks framed her face in loose curls.
Not only does she look stunning, but the Divergent star also opened up about her family and husband Ned Rocknroll.
"Nobody knows him—it's brilliant," she said of the nephew of Virgin Group tycoon Richard Branson. "They like to think they know him. They like to be judgmental because of his name and everything, but it's fabulous because no one knows anything about him."
The pair met during the infamous August 2011 house fire on Branson's private Necker Island, which burned down the $100 million compound.
"We really could have died," Winslet admitted. "The house burned to the ground." Winslet rescued Branson's elderly mother, Eve. "I carried her out of the house and down some very slippery stone steps. Lucky she's tiny! She's my son's great-grandmother now, so it's such a strange thing to talk about."
The fire certainly had an impact on Winslet and Rocknroll. They even gave their son the middle name Blaze.
"We had to get the fire thing in there somewhere," she quipped.
