Kim Kardashian‘s announcement that she is pregnant and expecting baby No. 2 with her husband, Kanye West, may have created pandemonium on the web. But that didn’t stop this second-time mama-to-be from stepping out on Monday, June 1—and in quite the rock and roll ensemble.
Kardashian, 34, was spotted leaving her NYC apartment with West while clad in a plunging black top—too loose to reveal even a hint of a bump. She completed the outfit with distressed, slate jeans, a leather jacket, a Givenchy purse, and peep-toe booties, despite the rainy day.
The reality star was spotted just hours after revealing her pregnancy via her hit series, Keeping Up With the Kardashians—and hours before the annual CFDA Fashion Awards, which she is expected to attend.
And in between all of that, Glamour released its perfectly timed July cover interview with the media mogul, who dished on her life as a mom to 23-month-old North West. “I don’t know if it’s growing up or being with Kanye, who’s more private, but I try and live my off time as privately as possible,” Kardashian said.
Musing on soon becoming a mom of two, Kardashian (who later went toy shopping with West) added, “I used to enjoy the spotlight. If I had a day off from filming, I didn’t know what to do. Now I enjoy my family time so much, there is this sense of, if it all went away, and I was just a mom, I would love my life.”
