Leaving her usual colorful, crazy looks at home, Lady Gaga stepped out in a surprisingly reserved outfit on Wednesday.

The singer, 25, chose an ultra-chic black flare coat by Prabal Gurung with a floor-length Sally LaPointe jersey dress for the launch of her Born This Way Foundation at Harvard University in Cambridge, Mass.

Of course, Gaga being Gaga, she accessorized with unique Prabal Gurung for Linda Farrow Projects sunglasses and an over-the-top headpiece.

The event drew a large number of fans and one VIP guest: Oprah Winfrey.

"Lady Gaga, with her music and her message and her own story, is breaking the form, and she is changing consciousness," Winfrey said. "She says that she wasn't put on earth just to sing songs; her passion is to be that force for good. The Born This Way Foundation is in line with so many of my core beliefs."
