Name: Dr. Mehmet Oz

Occupation: Physician; author; TV host

MD Mode: The Dr. Oz Show star, 52, is often clad in scrubs for his medical duties at Manhattan's New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University Medical Center. That means he relies on "easy-to-change-out-of-business attire," says the Cleveland, Ohio native, who's lived and worked in the NYC area for the past 26 years. His go-to designers include Zegna and Hugo Boss.

Spousal Support: "When it comes to shopping, I defer to my wife. She drags me around and tricks me often times and before we know it, we're in a shopping mall," Dr. Oz says of Lisa, whom he wed in 1985. And while she recently greenlit the purchase of two pairs of light brown Cole Haan loafers, "he does defer to me when it comes to ties," Lisa tells Us. "He has a great sense of style on his own, but sometimes he needs a little help!"

A-list Aspiration: "George Clooney is dapper and sleek. Everything he wears fits him well. It's an elegant look. It's about working smarter not harder. His ensembles look like he just threw it on without thinking," says Dr. Oz, whose closet favorites include a white tuxedo ("My kids groan and are embarrassed when I wear it"); Lululemon shorts ("My daughters bought me those") and cowboy boots ("I can't wear them in the city much, but I like them!"). Lisa adds, "When we met, his favorite article of clothing was a pair of fire-engine red loafers. I tried to get rid of them, but he always took them out of the Salvation Army pile. They finally 'disappeared' about a year ago."

Quote: "The best fashion advice I ever received was 'Wear bold primary colors. Dress for power.' But the style motto I follow is, 'When in doubt, wear solids.'"

Free Style: "The more comfortable I am, the sexier I feel," says the 26-year-old co-host of ABC's The Chew (weekdays at 1 p.m. EST/12 p.m. PST). "I love layers. I love sheer and lace and fabrics that breathe and move, lots of soft things." And though she's always preferred this style, her choices have evolved from "terrycloth jumpsuits in high school" to "classic, feminine things that accentuate the waist" from designers Phillip Lim and Isabel Marant.

Trial Runs: "You will never know what works on you until you try it. Like peplum tops. I love them and they work for me but voluminous peasant tops, I look terrible. You got to play around," says The Dorm Room Diet author, who lives in Manhattan with her husband, investment banker John Jovanovic. Thankfully, she has a lot of options to test drive: "My mom and I share clothes a lot and she just bought a gorgeous Oscar de la Renta ball gown that I'm for sure making my own!"

Posh Perfection: "Victoria Beckham looks so fabulous. I want to look that good after four kids and all the stuff that she does. Admittedly she can wear much higher heels than I can handle but she looks put together in a way that you actually could manage when getting dressed in a hurry in the morning," says Oz, who helped found HealthCorps, a non-profit that offers nutrition, exercise, and stress management education to teenagers in 50 schools nationwide. Her other Hollywood style icons? Kirsten Dunst and Rachel Bilson.

Quote: "Long gowns are underrated in America. We don't do enough of them. Whenever I have an opportunity to I always go for it. I love them!"
