Name: Adrienne Bailon

Occupation: TV personality; nail polish designer

Big Apple Attitude: The 28-year-old Empire Girls star, who grew up in the Lower East Side neighborhood of Manhattan, describes her style as "New York chic: eclectic, trendy, Latina and feminine. I like to call myself a Cha Cha queen."

Fashion Tips: For Bailon, a manicure can make or break an outfit. "If I have yellow nail polish on, I will definitely dress for that. If my nails are hot pink, prepare for major color blocking," says the Alexander Wang fan, who just launched a nail polish line called Fingertip Fetish.

Petite Predicament: "It is so hard for a short girl," says the 4-foot-11 star, who likes to splurge at NYC boutique Opening Ceremony. "I like to wear short dresses and form-fitting things that accentuate the waist. If I could raid anyone's closet, it would be Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen's. Everything would fit me and it'd be a two-for-one special!"

Quote: "You can't go wrong with a little black dress. I have one for every occasion -- from a funeral to a BBQ. They're simple, chic and clean -- that look always works."

Name: Julissa Bermudez

Occupation: Actress and TV personality

Forward Thinker: Born in the Dominican Republic but raised in Queens, the TV star, 28, says her "classic style with a trendy twist" has become more balanced as she's gotten older. "I think about my red carpet looks as if they were prom pictures: Would I cringe if I see them years from now?"

Quick Stepper: "I got a crazy pair of heels from Prada's spring/summer collection," says the star of the Style Network's Empire Girls. "I literally stalked the sales associate at Prada to make sure she wouldn't let me down as soon as they arrived because I knew they were only going to make a few! I mean, the shoes actually have taillights on them!"

Celeb Chic: Her style icons include Kate Moss, Jennifer Lopez and Victoria Beckham: "They rock everything with confidence!" says Bermudez, who adores the designs of Dolce & Gabbana, Versace and Pucci. She also recently discovered eyewear designer MOO Piyasombatkul. "She makes amazing glasses that literally look like a work of art!"

Quote: Not all trends are for everyone! If it doesn't look good on you then don't do it, no matter what the trend is. And when in doubt wear red!"
