Personalized style! Samuel L. Jackson solidified his badass status when the Pulp Fiction star revealed that his suit jacket is lined with his own face on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert on Wednesday, June 29.
Clad in a floral button-down, dark suit and signature backwards newsboy cap, Jackson, 67, playfully stripped off his outer layer, revealing the hilarious detail.
The garment wasn’t a gift from an adoring fan, it was a piece Jackson asked for directly. “So the tailor said, ‘What do you want in the lining?’ And I said, ‘Me,'” Jackson told host Stephen Colbert. Jackson was on the show to talk about his latest film, The Legend of Tarzan.

It’s not just any shot of the Hateful Eight star. Jackson had his suit lined with an image of one of his most iconic roles: Jules from Quentin Tarantino‘s 1994 film, Pulp Fiction. In the pic, which sadly does not reference his famous Quarter Pounder quote, Jackson sports his best snarl — complete with his character’s curly hair and beard — and fiercely points his gun at the camera.
After the big reveal, the Django Unchained actor hammed it up further by slinging the jacket — faceup — over his shoulder and giving his best model’s strut to the audience’s delight.
