for Christen Turner...grow up. Pre-teen starlets grow into independent women, too. Teen pop stars come and go so quickly I hardly think there's going to be a bunch of little girls losing sleep over Miley Cyrus growing out of her Hannah Montana persona. And the pot smoking admission...so what! There's much worse things she could be doing. I commend Miley for taking a stand on the equal rights for gays couples issue also

We're no longer looking at Hannah Montana! Everyone needs to lay off this young lady and let her grow into the strong woman she obviously intends to be. I say "you go, Miley!" No one would say a word if any other (non-Disney) young starlet dressed in any of these outfits. I don't see anything improper here.

.. she is so beautiful :)

Even though she is only 15 at the time, when I lived in Arizona the teenagers and over 18 girls on average walk around in revealing short shorts and a bikini top. Really, do you think her parents that manage her career would have let her do this if they didn't think it was ok?

Omg we are so repressed in America. What is the complaint really? She is over 18, confident and fabulous.

This above picture shows her back. The only risque thing may have been her age or break away from her squeaky clean image.

I'll be the first to say I'm not a Miley Cyrus/ Hannah Montana/ Destiny Cyrus/ Whoever she thinks she is nowadays fan. But I will ALSO say that I don't see anything wrong with this picture. I think it's a work of art. Kudos to the photographer.

I didn't read all the posts, but I do agree with a few of them Morgan Oster is one of them I agree with. If the parents of today's children would take responsibility for what THEY let their kids watch there wouldn't be as much problems. Like most people in the USA today they don't want to take the responsibility for what their kids watch, or sometimes do. They would rather put the blame on someone else and then try and sue them for something that their kids did. The picture above doesn't show anything more than what is seen at most public beaches. The bikinis the women wear today show a lot more skin than this picture does. So what if she's done a few things that she shouldn't have. She is only HUMAN like the rest of us, and isn't perfect. I can see why most stars get into the drugs. Paparazzi taking pictures of them all day long. The stress of making movies. So what if she smoked weed. BIG DEAL. Just drop it. If it was your 18 or 19 year old that admitted they smoked pot it wouldn't make headline news. The only reason she did is because she's famous. Yes being a mouseketeer does put you in an image of being a good girl/boy, but that doesn't make you a saint or perfect for that matter. Morgan does have a point. If that's not the Miley that you like or want to see the don't look. That's the problem with most people today. They want to control what everyone sees or hears. That sounds a lot like communism if you ask me. The last I knew we lived in the USA and were free to watch what we want and say what we want, but if you say just one wrong word then you're a racist, or a trouble maker.

why do you all care if she's the one doing it? if you don't want your kids to see it then don't let them see it...? i always thought that was common sense but so many of you are freaking out about it. who gives a crap who you looked up to? if that's not the Miley you don't want to see then don't look at it. again with the common sense. I think she's cool, despite what y'all say. so haters hate. but when she does what y'all never expected you can't really get mad? there's nothing she can do to change this, but y'all could shut up about it and stop drawing so much attention. thank you? goshhh!!

I don't know... for some of you who disagree with the negative comments said about her, you got to get real... there is a lot of reason why this girl is wrong- but I guess once you are a mouseketeer, you will never be above and beyond the good girl/boy image.
