  I think that lip-syncing is really kind of insulting to the people that PAID to go and see her PERFORM LIVE. When you go to see an artist singing, you'd like to think that your listening to them sing at that very moment, not just some pre-recorded, edited version of the same song. Britney may be miming, she may be dancing, and she may be interacting with the audience, but she is not actually singing, which is what 90% of people go to hear. I agree with Alex - If you want to hear someone put on a fantastic show, interact with the audience, dance for two hours in shoes that most people can't walk in, do acrobatics and SING, then you should have gone to see Pink. Britney is not Pink. I do however feel a little sorry for Britney, as I think that they scheduled her Australian Tour a little too soon after Pink's, and I am not dissing Britney's show, but Pink did have a huge show - Pink performed 58 times in Australia, since she was loved so much by the country, and her show was so great and lively, and then Britney shows up and starts lip-syncing, and looking comepletely overwhelmed and tired. If Britney can't handle the amount she does in the show, then she shouldn't be doing it.

  I went to the concert and had a ball. It was an experience. I didn't go to see her sing. I didn't go to have a conversation with her, or see her dance. The reality is, it is a "SHOW". So you should be there for the dancing, the music, the vibe, the interaction as much as anything else. This is a ridiculous debate! I don't care if she can or can't sing, if she mimes, even if all her music is digitally enhanced. All that really matters is the end product, and I like that. So chill out.

  I find it amazing that some fans want to justify her lack of dancing and singing by claiming "she does the most amazing hair flips of all". I mean seriously???????? HAIR FLIPS?? Is this what people are expecting from this so-called artist?? Well, I'm very sorry about their lack of taste and minimun artistic understanding. I prefer to go see beyoncé live, who can actually sing like crazy, dance like crazy and has the additional hair flips that seem to be Britney's only talent these days.

  Why would anyone expect spears to actually sing at one of her shows? She never sings live because she can't sing. Her 'voice' is created in the studio. How good can her voice be, she's a chain smoker!!! She can't sing and definitely does not have the lung capacity to sing and dance. Plus she's not even that great of a dancer. Poor performer all around, but that's not news.

  haha u guys think most aussies paid $1500 to go see Britney?..no...her 1st show sold out only cuz they were offereing tickets for $50. Only 1 show was completely sold out.

Just because she had one incident on SNL, you think she doesn't sing? Go get one of her cd's. Some of her songs are actually very good. Keep your mouth shut unless you have proof.

  Im an Australian and I am proud. We Australians aren't as silly or gullable as Americans think. We aren't going to put up with rubbish performances and lip synch if I wanted to listen to the edited version of her song i would have listened to the album. I recently went and saw a real performer who put effort and talent into her concert and though it didn't sound the exact same as the album, I think it actually sounded better than the edited cd version. And yes I am talking about Pink. If Brittany had half the talent, intelligence or self respect that Pink has, then she would be doing a lot better than this. I paid a hundred and twenty dollars AU to get front row of Pinks concert and I wouldn't pay ten dollars to see brittany. I would prefer to listan and watch a real artist.

  "the music is still HER VOICE!!!" No, the music is mostly digital sounds created on expensive equipment. Her 'voice' is digitized and changed dramatically in all of her songs, in order to give it that good sound. Her actual singing voice would probably make your ear drums explode. And I love how all you idiots are quite happy, to fork out all this money, to go to a venue, to listen to a CD while observing the so called 'singer' do a bunch of random stuff on stage. Brilliant. "MOST performers do it. Get over it." And there's the wonderful intelligence of this world. "People screw us over, get over it and just accept it" essentially. I bet that poster is someone that goes to say, the movies, and demands her money back and apologies from all the staff, if god forbid she CAN'T GET THE SEAT SHE WANTED!!!!

  ONE lousy "journalist" didn't like the show. WHO CARES?! People who write reviews for newspapers don't even pay for their tickets so they can write what they want. This person is obviously not a fan and should not have been given a chance to see the show. Britney is not the only performer to have mimed - MOST performers do it. Get over it. She shouldn't care what one little loser has to say and neither should you.
