So much for hanging with your exes.
In the December issue of Allure, Kirsten Dunst admits that she and ex-boyfriend Jake Gyllenhaal don't exactly keep in touch.
"It would be nice to see him," she says. "But we're not good friends."
Check out Hollywood's most memorable breakups
The couple -- who had shared an L.A. home and a dog named Atticus -- split in 2004 after about two years together.
Now 28, Gyllenhaal has been in a relationship with Reese Witherspoon since early 2007.

The 27 year-old Dunst tells Allure that she's single and living in New York City. Any notable guests at her apartment? "My girlfriends will sleep in bed with me, but no guests, not long-term, anyway."
The actress, who describes her life as "totally regular," recently took an eye-opening cross-country road trip with a pal, visiting Graceland, New Orleans and the Grand Canyon.
"After we were done, I was like, 'Wow, America is so poor,'" she tells the magazine. "Just the towns you come across -- all that's there are restaurants and gas stations. There are beautiful stretches of pasture, but for the most part, people live simply. The East and West Coast are so different from the rest of America."

Kirsten, we understand, it is hard to be a friend with ex when he cheated with men and dumped you for a boyfriend. -

Where has this dunce-chicklet tooth bimbo been? I am from Huntington Beach I'm now living in Kansas for my medical residency, before I moved here I thought that Kansas was all hick. I WAS WRONG. There is more money in this little town than I could have imagined. The difference here is the people aren't all Hollywood stupid and shallow like 99.9% of all the other idiots in SO.CAL. This is a typical liberal elitist actress spewing forth their insights without knowing crap. Actually now that I think about it there is more poor people in SO.CAL they may look like they have money but it is ALL credit card debt, or sugar-daddy money. -

I love her as an actress and person. I think she is very vulnerable. That is why she struggles at times with depression. -

Her nasty teeth make her look like she belongs in the poor towns she talking about:) -
November 19, 2009 - 5:10pm They are not poor Kirsten Says:
I am going to blame her nieve nature on the fact that she has lived in what amounts to a 'bubble' since she was a child actress and gained fame early in her life. The life of a child actress I am sure doesn't resemble a 'regular' life in any fashion. She has most likely lived in some of the poshest neighborhoods LA and New York have to offer, but if she ventured out of either of those neighborhoods she would see some intense poverty. I would even venture to guess that on her way to get a latte or shop she has walked by some of America's poorest people. The towns she speaks about in this interview are small towns and the people there for the most part are not poor and they enjoy their life with one gas station and one diner. They are probably richer than she will ever be in the things that matter most in this world, but sadly I don't think she will never be able to understand that. -

November 18, 2009 - 7:03pm rolando Says: America is poor. You need to take care of the middle part of your country. ************************************************ REALLY?! Since when is it up to her to take care of the rest of the country? I believe in assisting your fellow American, but she shouldn't feel guilty about her success. Especially because she's the one who had the drive to go out there and do what she wanted. Maybe if most Americans had that same drive, we wouldn't be in the situation we're in. -
November 19, 2009 - 2:56pm Katie Says:
Whatever, this little nasty twit doesn't know what "poor" really is. Just because there might just be gas stations and restaurants in a town and no Rodeo Drive or 5th Avenue, doesn't make it a poor town. The people that live there might have very good jobs and more money than her pathetic @ss. She is disgusting and snaggle-toothed. -

The reason Kirsten refuses to "fix" her teeth is she resents that her mother pushed her into an acting career at such a young age, when she really had no say in the matter. It's her way of showing her mother she's in charge now. -

She sounds so ignorant. -
November 19, 2009 - 10:17am If You Think She's Ignorant, Try Washington DC Says:
Her intent may not have been expressed very well, but I think I see where she's coming from. I live in Washington, DC, but I'm originally from a rural state, and most of the people in DC are so out of touch with the rest of the country it's really not funny. People here are all about "My Ivy League school is better than yours," "Oh, I know what you mean about suffering. I had to choose between Harvard and Yale for grad school because they BOTH wanted me," "My Georgetown house cost more than yours," "Talk about aggrevating! One of my three BMWs is in the shop," "My job is more powerful than YOUR job," etc. These people here have not one f----- clue about anything going on in the rest of the country. Maybe some of them should do what she did and actually get out and SEE it. -

i think her teeth are cute, it's like her trademark.. & people c'mon stop getting down on the girl! she's not trying to offend anybody, just stating her opinion. she doesn't have a lifestyle like the rest of us, if you think about it, she never really has... -

I think her use of "poor" was wrong. I don't think she meant it the way it sounds. At least I HOPE she didn't. I'm glad she's getting out and away from Lala-land. More of them should!
