  I never watched Jon and Kate plus 8, however I watched an interview with Kate after the split was made public. I thought Kate handled the news very well, she didnt dog Jon I know if it had been me I would have spared him none. I know why she handled it with class, but I would have torn him apart. I do remember how everyone use to talk about how hard Kate was on Jon, so I had nothing better to do I watched a few shows. I find it amazing that no one remembers Jon's outburtst? I mean he is screaming at her over a pair of shoes, I also noiced that Kate was the one asking for hugs from Jon, she knew way before the world did. I would say by the time the Six, were three you can tell his mind is somewhere else. I am a person who speaks their mind, and I understand Kate. I understand that she knew what Jon was doing and it made her angry enough to snape at him and her children, the reason I know this is becuase I have been married for nineteen years, we have been together 22 years. During these years I have forgiven countless affairs, I have endured physical and mental abuse. I had decided to leave and I moved out only to find out that I was pregant after 12 years of tyring to get pregant three miscarriages I finally left. Then I found myself pregant, I had no home no money and no family to speak of. So I was told things would change and i went back, my son is now nine years old. I would like to thank Kate, she has inspired me to move on. I know a lot of people feel Jon was mistreated but you have to remember one thing, when a marrage that was made of love ends neiter person can move on so quickly as Jon did. I felt sorry for Jon but to be honest he has it pretty good. Think back Kate stayed home while Jon went to work, from the footage yes she was a witch but she was also the one asking for affection from her husband who didnt seem to care. Since the seperation Jon has wasted no time moving from one girl to the next. Then when American starts to understand why Kate was so hard on Jon, what does he do. Well Jon slames Kate making false statments such as she was having affairs too, when? Then he states the show is bad for his children, I dont recall him once telling the crew not now, I saw several times that Kate has backed the crew up and said not now. I wonder does Jon think American is Stupid? He has to, think he feels being on the show is bad for his children, well if so what impact does his girl friend have on them? What about the fact that he is slinging mud at their mother, while he is jumping anything that will let him? Please some one tell me how he thinks him acting like a horny bull frog is good for his children. Anyone with a brain knows that once something is in the papers his children are going to hear about his girl friend. Oh maybe it is because he is smoking as much weed as his girl friend? But then again maybe the reason he sees nothing wrong is because he has fried all of his brain cells from hanging out with little miss ( cant put my pants on). If you compare the two Jons girl friend, or the tv show which one is going to cause more harm? If you think well the children dont have to be around the girl friend think again, this is the girl Jon bought a ring for, this is the girl he is spending all of his time with. I hope Kate Shows the Judge the footage of Jons girl friend not to harm Jon but to protect her children. No child needs to be subjected to that kind of behavior, what kind of exsample does that set for his two girls? They are at an age they do not need to be subjecte to that kind of behavior.One more question how is Jon supporting himself and his girlfriend? Could it be the show that he is slamming, maybe the reason is because they didnt want to film him and the gravy train was drying up for him. What is funny is that he was going to attempt to save his marriage, no people his contract. Its hard to keep a party girl without money. Kate thank you for inspireing me to leave and I pray that you fight hard to make sure your children safe and I hope you get your own show. Good luck and God bless.

  I pray that Kate and her children will go forward and have a happy life. I also hope to see Kate doing something with out jon for TLC...I'm sure your going to need the money to keep your life going as a single mom.

  Jon Gosselin should be ashamed of himself. Leaving a wife that has given him his lovely children. Wake up Jon it never is to late to make amends and put your energies into your God given wife and little children. A split family never works. The children take the brunt. a loving gramdmother and great grandmother

  Thank god this train wreck of a show is finally going to end. I've watched the show from the beginning, loved the first few years. But it became apparent to me that this was starting to become a "fake reality" show. Jon, Kate and TLC can share equally in this mess of a show. They cared more for the fame, money and oh yes ratings!!! They are sad, pathetic people. I feel very sorry for the kids, they didn't ask for any of this.

  it takes 2 to make a marriage and 2 t0 brake it i feel sorry for the kids and noonse else they are the ones who will be hurt by all the immature things there parents said. they are caught in the middle of this battle

  I hate Jon for what he has done, not only to the kids but to the millions of people who have watched them grow up. The program did not hurt them, in fact they really enjoyed being with the cast members. Jon is just immature and will regret his actions down the line. It is he who has broken up the family, not Kate, no matter how she treated him. That could have been handled with family counseling, not cheating on his wife then blaming it the show being bad for his kids. He doesn't care about those kids anymore. He cares about himself and simply drags them around to places he wants to be at. What a lousy father.

  You would have to be a fool to want to watch Kate Gosselin do a show after she conned viewers about the real state of her marriage. And you know it was mainly HER choice to put up that facade, because SHE'S the one who's desperate for a show. Jon wasn't ever completely comfortable participating, and it wouldn't have been too difficult to convince him to stop.

  What the future holds for Jon The Gutter Trash Gosselin is a pimp over his kids. As soom as he can he will strat pimping them in the street. He doesn't care how old the men are either. That is what the future is for the kids if Jon gets the kids. I read on one of these web sites where he and the gutter trash mistress were making these plans. So sorry for the kids if this piece of trash gets them.

  TheMamaw, if the Gosselin parents didn't air their dirty laundry in public I would agree with you 100%. With Jon and Kate trash mouthing each other on many shows it is hard to imagine how these post would hurt. Keep in mind what Jon and Kate have said on tv is probably the tip of the iceberg compared to what is said off-screen.

  It's sad that money can ruin a family, of course having a greedy mother and a spineless father doesn't help. Kate has always been a nasty mouthed woman but Jon didn't mind until they made enough money that he could afford to leave. Both are selfish, lousy, parents and I'm sick of hearing its all for the kids. BS...why is Kate dressed like a movie star and Jon taking girlfriends on vacations and driving sports cars..
