Hailey Glassman: "I Am Semi-Single"

Sorry, fellas: Hailey Glassman isn't back on the market.
She took to her Twitter page Monday to set the record straight about her relationship status with Jon Gosselin.
"Yes, I am semi-single, but definitely NOT YET ready to mingle," she wrote. "I need some Hailey time and regroup myself and my life."

Earlier in the day, Jon, 32, thanked the 22-year-old former party girl for helping him reform his ways. "Going home to see my kids,-excited, but i'll miss Hailey," he Twittered. "She has made me realize I need to be an honest person/father for my kids."

The two made headlines over the weekend, each issuing statements about their relationship.
Glassman first told The Insider that Gosselin emotionally abused her (she referred to his outbursts as "mantrums").
He then issued a statement saying that he regrets "any pain that my actions have caused her as she has selflessly born the pressures I have endured under the media glare."

Speaking at a New York City synagogue Sunday night, Jon apologized again to Glassman - and his estranged wife Kate - claming that he was planning to reconnect with his "deeper, more spiritual, more altruistic self" by studying with Rabbi Shmuley Boteach.

He also reiterated that he and Glassman weren't splitting, but were going to "slow things down." He said he doesn't want to make "the same mistakes with Hailey [Glassman] that I did with Kate."

I need to be where the action is and I thrive on being admired, and being in front of a camera is my standard now. This seems like another cry for media attention. "Jon Abuses me" "Jon is turning spiritual" "Hailey is breaking up with Jon" "Jon is putting Hailey ahead of himself and breaking up with her to protect her from him" and so the whole Kate and Jon plus 8 working on their rleationships per Jon, is just another way he is mocking Kate and trying to fool the world. Throwing in the break up with Michael Lohan. Why didn't Michael Lohan get upset over the Kate Major thing months and months ago????? None of this makes sense. Just because it's common, Joanna, does not make it right. Prostitutes are common too, so what's the point? A man/woman going through a divorce/settlement with children should not be dating anyone. And experts advise 5 years after a long term marriage before one is ready for another intimate relationship, and that's IF they've done the work on themselves that contributed to the broken marriage. -

OK, so he is technically still married, but he will soon be divorced. I know several women (much older than 22) who have dated men in the midst of a divorce. Being with someone who is going through a divorce, child custody etc. is not something I would do, (who wants to deal with that) but it is more common than you think. It is NOT the same thing as dating a married man who does not plan to leave his wife. Grow up, the real world is not perfect. -

Sigh...whatever. With Jon and Hailey its been one lie after another and one publicity stunt after another. How in the world do the two of them expect anyone to believe anything that comes out of thier mouths. I get it, you can't help who you fall in love with, but you should have stayed away from a married man. You know it and he knows it. You BOTH know this was wrong. If the two of you want to do the right thing, then stop with the press releases, stop courting the spotlight and somebody PLEASE teach Jon what being a father is all about! All you both have done here is make yourself look like bigger hypocrites than you did last week.
