Lindsay Lohan: My Dad "Threatened to Kill" Mom

The War of the Lohans continues.
Lindsay Lohan continues to fight back after her father Michael shared old phone chats between the two of them with the press.
Her medium? Twitter, naturally.

"He's a deadbeat dad. He's disgusting to do this," she wrote Thursday morning, noting, "he needs help."
Her dad's phone-tape leaks Wednesday, she says, "really hurts my mom for me and my siblings."

The 23 year-old actress recalls the troubled home life and marriage between her father and mother Dina. "She blames herself for staying w/him for so long," she says. But Lindsay begged Dina not to leave, she says, because "he always threatened to kill her if she did."
Her father, she adds, would often disappear for several days -- "cheating on my mother" and "abusing substances."

The troubled star laments "that I even have to share this w/everyone, but I haven't had a real relationship w/Michael Sr. In years . . . I just hope I can show others how to be strong through times and to be able to stand up for yourself and loved ones no matter what!"
In the tape Michael released Wednesday, his eldest daughter is sobbing, "No one cares about me . . . It's about how they feel, not how I feel. It's not about me. It's never been about me, unless I fight for it."
Lohan has been campaigning in the press for Lindsay to get treatment for drug and alcohol abuse.

I haven't like Lindsey in a long while, but in reading the quotation of that phone conversation, I softens my heart towards her and makes me feel badly for her. I know in my own life, it's very much the same. With that said, i do believe that things happen for a reason to make us stronger, and in that light, God must feel she's incredibly strong to have to endure what she does. it also makes her own battles with drugs and alcohol make more sense. I personally do not battle drug/alcohol addictions, but rather food and overcome it. I hope in the end that she is able to conquer her own demons and understand that she is a valuable person no matter what others think of her or how they treat her -

Obviously, no one in that family has an ounce of talent! The one that has come the closest, Lindsay, blew all her money up her nose and to the high cost of living at the Chateau Marmont! Any parent that would exploit their children to the highest bidder is a disgusting pig! Just go away Lohan's! At least until vh1 does a broke and famous show on you living in a dumpster down by the river! -
