  Oops, typos, ALL OF YOU - Go to the mirror and draw in some thick bushy eyebrows, rub a little bit of darker tone make up to your face to make it look blotchy, some mustache hair, bags under your eyes and make a frowny face. HOW DO YOU LOOK?????????????? Im serious, just try it. I did and I look really bad too.

  To: Lisa and Jay & D Krystal: Are you guys BLIND????? SHE WAS WEARING MAKEUP! They ADDED makeup to make her skin look bad and dark circles under her eyes. THEY also ADDED FACIAL HAIR, BUSHY EYEBROWS. Mariah Carey's skin is almost flawless - She's a DIVA because she takes care of herself, hair & nails. NO BOTOX, NO LIP INJECTIONS! Even though she gained an extra 50 pounds, her face is still naturally pretty. When she's in top shape, with or without makeup she's pretty. She never really wore heavy makeup anyway. There are photos of her in lip gloss and some eyeliner. Look back on her videos. Beverly, yeah, you're right, she does wear revealing clothing and can look cheap BUT you're wrong, in the movie - they added UGLY makeup and facial hair to look ugly.   They added dark circles under her eyes, different shading around her face, big bushy eyebrows and a mustache. So is that how you all look without makeup. Anyone would look like crap like that. She has a pretty face naturally, there's nothing ugly about her. All of you are nuts. Go add all that to your face and let's see how you look. So Stupid.

  I have always thought that Mariah Carey tries too hard to be "sexy." She's always posing, always wearing something that's way too low cut, etc. Too low cut, too short, too tight. She usually just ends up looking cheap. In this movie, she's not wearing any make-up, so that's what she really looks like. Big deal. She insulted every girl and woman out there when she made those remarks. She is so insecure it's pathetic. Everything is about her sex appeal and looks. What will she do when age finally catches up with her? Everyone gets older; plastic surgery can do just so much, and then one has to accept age with as much grace as possible. She's still a relatively young woman. She should enjoy her life and stop trying so hard. Pity.

  Aww poor thing...a little makeup does wonders for anybody..so what if she had to look like that for a movie..as a few others have already said thats probably what she really looks like without makeup anyways.Not everybody has the time or money to get all glammed up.   I saw the movie at yesterdays premiere and even though she had to wear clothes that were out of her comfort zone she did well granted she had a small role. I do think though that when you take up a role, you should play it convincingly and in order to do that, it was necessary that you get into character in whatever way necessary. If she signed on to play the part, she shouldn't be complaining. I think the film had much tougher performances that required far more effort then hers.

  shallow doesnt' even cover it! wow! her face is the same .. so seriously I agree with TROBS :) .. when she first wakes up , is this what she truely looks like? She is 1 of those people that does not have natural beauty and needs make up and a whole lota hair care products to make her fake .. and pretty.

  I don't think she sounds shallow, she just sounds like anyone else who is unhappy with the way they look. I don't think most people when they are at their worst, for whatever reason, enjoy a lot of time in the mirror. It is human nature to want to feel good about yourself. To the person who spoke about it being how she might look when she wakes up, with all due respect, I'm sure with her money she doesn't have a "mustache" or bad haircut and color, even when she wakes up in the morning. Sure she may not have make-up on in the morning, but it wasn't as bad as she was made to look. My goodness, all she is basically saying is that she likes looking good, who doesn't? As far as aging, she will probably even feel glamorous even then. She seems like the type that as long as she creates the look she likes best, she feels beautiful. I say bravo for her, enjoy being beautiful, do what makes you feel pretty, and don't let anyone bring you down!
