If Jon Gosselin needs a way to blow off steam following his public fights with estranged wife Kate, Michael Lohan may have the solution.

Lindsay Lohan's dad stopped by the family's $1.1 million home in Wernersville, Pa., on Sunday to urge the father of eight to join the Celebrity Boxing Federation, a sports entertainment league.

"I am in the Celebrity Boxing Federation, so I had to go out to Philadelphia to meet with the chairman of the organization," Lohan told Usmagazine.com. "They asked me if Jon would fight, so I went up to Pennsylvania to visit Jon."

Although Lohan said Gosselin, 32, declined the offer to box in a charity match, the amateur boxer told Us that his visit allowed him to meet the Gosselin family, as the eight kids -- 9-year-old twins Mady and Cara and 5-year-old sextuplets Hannah, Leah, Alexis, Joel, Aaden and Collin -- were home.

Gosselin, Lohan said, seemed like "an unbelievable father. His kids are the most adorable children and they love him very much and he loves them."

During his 90-minute stay, Lohan also rode Gosselin's dirt bike around the property and discussed their reality show, The Divorced Dads Club, which he has been shopping around since the two first connected in July.

"It looks good," he told Us, adding that he hopes Gosselin will be able to get out of his TLC contract with Kate Plus 8 "so that people can see the real side of what divorced dads really go through."

Lohan's visit came two days before Jon and Kate are due to meet with a court-appointed arbitrator on Tuesday to discuss Kate's request for alimony and to attempt to resolve their financial disputes. (Although Jon has since denied any inappropriate withdrawals, Kate has accused him of taking $230,000 from the family account.)

In a statement on Sunday, Jon's lawyer, Mark Heller, explained that Jon "has chosen to take the high road" by not releasing any further information on the case.

"He did not want to embarrass Kate with the allegations set forth therein and was hopeful that such restraint, to his own detriment, would inspire Kate to privately come to the table with her counsel to resolve all outstanding issues relating to their divorce, through peaceful private negotiation -- rather than the contentious litigation that [Kate's lawyer] Mr. Momjian seems so willing to instigate and pursue in the public eye."
