  Jon can't keep his stories straight. First he says one thing then changes the facts when things don't go in his favor. He is like the girls going wild video....first he started seeing all of these wild girls (according to the law he is still married to Kate), then he was spotted out drinking and smoking with these girls. Bought an apartment and new expensive car in NY (with the money he makes from his children). And then he got his ears pierced.....such a great role model for any kid to be around, Right???. He is upset because TLC has cut him out of future productions of the shows....now he will have to actually work for a living and I don't think the wild and pretty girls will want a poor fat (and father of 8 children) man to hang with. He has really showed himself through this whole ordeal..Hats off to Kate when ever asked a question regarding the situation she would always state she wanted to this to remain a private issue for the sake of the children.

  For someone that was tired of being in the public eye why is he trying to create more airtime for himself. He is very contraditive of himself and his statements. And on Larry King live last nite, what a sleeze bag attorney he had. Kate attorney at least looked like someone who knew what he was talking about. I had also heard that TLC bought that new house for them, so how can Jon put up a sign taking TLC, no trespassing or filming. He is so ignorant. Its not wonder Kate was so mean to him. I was a fan of his and not her from the beginning, but now....I am behind her all the way.

  Jon is mad that he won't be recieving the big pay checks to go hopping around the world and the buys his childrens love anymore. He know's he cannot afford the child support for all 8 kids working in the job he worked at before the show. Kate has been wronged, yet the stable parent in this whole deal. She cares more for those kids than she does for herself. It's her personality and comments that drive the show. Is he just trying to take away her way of supporting the kids? He just left so he can be a dad on the weekend. While I think that it is weird that the kids have spent their life on TV I know it helps support the family and provide for them. I laughed out loud when I heard that TLC has dropped him from the show. He shouldn't be able to tell Kate what she can do with her own kids when she didn't make the decision to brake up that marriage he did.

  While I've been on Jon's side during this whole thing, I have to admit, I'm not to sure how honest he's being right now. I watched the Larry King show and IMHO, BOTH of them are being morons!! While I question Jon's motives for wanting to take the show off the air (who wouldn't right?), the one thing I'm happy about is... at least someone is talking about doing so!!! The last place those kids need to be is on TV. While you can't take back the last 5 yrs, you CAN move forward and do the right thing which is... getting those kids off the air!! At least let this be something that we, those of us who feel for the kids, who want what's in the best interest of them that is, SEE as a good thing!! This I do believe. Things are going to get a lot worst before they get better so hopefully, I pray, that a judge will step in and put a hold on this show!! Why can't they just let these kids be kids?? Why is it so important for them to be on TV, besides the obvious that is?? Honestly, do the Gosselins believe that we, the public, are morons? It's apparent to most that they've made enough $$ to live on for the rest of their lives and still have change left over!! So enough is enough damn it!! Put those kids FIRST. After all, that's what real loving parents DO!! Peace

  I find it odd that Jon felt compelled to call the police on Kate when she objected to his choice of babysitters yet he wants to unilaterally decide on the kid's participation on the show. Jon is the controlling one here. He blames everyone but himself for his predicament. Sorry, Jon. You're a hateful, insincere, lying mess of a man-boy. You probably can't even see your culpability in this whole mess. It is all TLC and Kate's fault! Riiiight!!!!

  Jon is the person harming his kids, not Kate. He started this nasty divorce and is the person who continues to make a bad situation worse by fighting his contractual obligations. There is no way this is about what is best for the kids. This is all about Jon. Just listen to how often he uses the word "I". He is the one exploiting his kids. He has wanted out of HIS contract for several months. It is NOT about the kids. It is about payback aimed at TLC and Kate. Kate needs to wake up and apply for full-custody ASAP. Jon is not stable enough to be making decisions regarding the children. I hope TLC successfully sues him for breach of contract. He'd deserve it after his latest actions.

  Jon has got a bad rap in this matter. I was a fan of the show from the beginning. Anybody could see how Kate bashed him and beat him down on the show constantly. He was the one who stayed home and took care of "their" kids while she ran around the country. He spent more quality time with the kids than Kate did with "her kids".

  Jon has not been fired from TLC but has been effectively cut out of the show. Until TLC releases him from his contract he cannot do anything else unless they give the ok. I really wonder why they don't just release him from the contract. What are they afraid of. Why do they need to keep control of him? TLC is no angel in all this. They are in the thick of it and on Kate's side.

  Just a minor point, if Jon puts a legal stop to the Gosselin 8's filming what makes him think that he will get an offer for another tv program or project? Jon demonstrated a lack of reliability and did not honor a contract...just saying...Most companies have to look at money and liability issues today... Smart move Jon and you just shot yourself in the foot.
