Get a cab! The Amazing Race revealed its Season 27 winning couple on Friday, Dec. 11, and it all came down to a pivotal taxi ride.
After a season that involved stops in Zimbabwe, Argentina, and Hong Kong, three couples were still in the running heading into the final episode: Logan and Chris, dating paparazzi; Kelsey and Joey, dating news anchors; and engaged pair Justin and Diana.
In the end, Kelsey and Joey emerged victorious and nabbed the million-dollar prize, thanks in large part to their cab being the only one that didn't depart from the FDNY training facility in Long Island. Justin and Diana were the runners-up, while Logan and Chris came in third.
The finale episode also required the couples to fly via helicopter to the Hamptons, where they rode Sea-Doos to a lobster boat. The final challenges involved identifying countries' flags and building Adirondack chairs.
Host Phil Keoghan live-tweeted the broadcast, expressing his appreciation for everyone involved in the season at the episode's conclusion.
"Thank you to our entire cast this season and all those around the world who shared their countries!" Keoghan wrote. "#AmazingRace indeed!"
