It reached its limit! CBS has canceled Limitless after one season, with showrunner Craig Sweeny announcing the news on Twitter on Wednesday, May 25.
"I'm truly sad to report that #Limitless will not continue on any platform," Sweeny wrote. "Thanks so much to everyone who watched."
The news comes after CBS president Glenn Geller told reporters last week during its pre-upfronts breakfast that the network was still shopping the drama series to other outlets.
Limitless was a spinoff of Bradley Cooper's 2011 film of the same name. The show starred Jake McDorman and Jennifer Carpenter, and featured Cooper in a recurring role as Senator Edward Morra, his character from the movie.
