Relationship feels! Fresh off her painful divorce from Gavin Rossdale, Gwen Stefani took the stage at the 2015 American Music Awards on Sunday, Nov. 22, and put her heart into her performance of “Used to Love You.”
Moments before she took the stage, The Voice coach’s new costar boyfriend, Blake Shelton, tweeted, “Prepare for greatness.. #AmericanMusicAwards.”
The visibly emotional Stefani, 46, took the stage in a bra and matching black bottoms with a sheer black lace dress over top as she sang her heartfelt ballad.
Images from her raw music video played in the background as the AMAs camera panned to the captivated, star-studded audience.
After Stefani left the stage, a fan tweeted, “I thought her performance was the best of the show fabulous,” to which Shelton, 39, retweeted and replied, “Agreed…”
Earlier this month, Us Weekly broke the news that Rossdale, 50, had a three-year affair with the family’s nanny Mindy Mann, right under Stefani’s nose. His final admission led to their split this past August.
