It's only 12 days into January, but Jennifer Lawrence may have just pulled off the photobomb of the year. During Taylor Swift's red carpet interview with Ryan Seacrest at the 2014 Golden Globe Awards, the American Hustle star snuck up the stairs behind the "I Knew You Were Trouble" singer and crashed her on-camera chat outside the Beverly Hilton Hotel.

The hilarious moment was captured on film and shared via Seacrest's Instagram shortly after it went down. "The single most important photo from the #goldenglobes red carpet," he captioned the shot.

Lawrence, who picked up the Golden Globe for Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in a Motion Picture, joked that she wanted to push Swift off the podium during her interview.

"I was going to come in and push you down the stairs," the Oscar winner quipped to the country-pop superstar. "I was like, 'She'll crack up. She would really love that.'"

Swift, resplendent in a red Carolina Herrera gown, was indeed amused by the idea. "That's so funny," she replied.

The two stars then shared a cute bit of banter over whether Lawrence had ever been to one of the singer's concerts. "She's never invited me," the Silver Linings Playbook actress claimed, prompting Swift to retort, "I have invited you so many times!"

The friends find other ways to stay in touch, though. "Oh my God, I freaked out over the CMAs," Lawrence gushed. "I sent her a text message that was like six inches long."

"I was reading it, like, 'This is the most heartfelt text I've ever gotten," Swift added. "I don't remember [what it said], but she was just so incredible. American Hustle, I was doing the same thing. I wanted to badly to send a novel text message!"
