Barbara Walters Grills Kim Kardashian on Sex Tape, Lack of "Talent"

Barbara Walters didn't pull any punches interviewing the Kardashians on her eponymous 10 Most Fascinating People of 2011 special, which aired Wednesday on ABC.

In a sit-down with Kim, Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian and their mom Kris Jenner, the veteran journalist looked back on Kim's initial brush with fame: Her 2007 sex tape with Ray J that stormed the web and made her a household name.
"So, was it a good thing to have done?" Walters asked of the X-rated clip.

"Whatever you do, you might think," Kim, 31, replied, stammering. "I've made mistakes in my life for sure."
Added mom and manager Jenner, 56, of the brouhaha: "It was devastating for the whole family. You cry yourself to sleep for a few nights, then you hire an attorney."

Walters also brought up a frequent complaint about the family and other reality stars: "You don't really act; you don't sing; you don't dance,…You don't have any -- forgive me -- any talent!"
"I think it's more of a challenge for you to go on a reality show, and get people to fall in love with you for being you," Kim mused.
Added Khloe: "None of us think we have talent. none of us think we can sing or act or dance."

ok...let set the record strait...talant is something you are born with. And talant can be defined in great many aspects. To make fun of people because they can not sing is really stupid. But who said that it does not take a talant to be intertaining. And intertaining Kardashians defenetly are. You can not take it away from them. Barbara was not at her best for caving to the publick and bashin Kardashians for not to be able to dance....really...We all watch tv..and we all need intertainment beoynd the news and tragedies surounding the world. And Kardashians are perfect for it. Stop the attackes and enjoy the show. it is very coragious of them to show their volnorable sides so that all of us have something to relate to. Kim is one great looking woman... and she does have a talant to be very sexy and appealing. Who said it does not take talant? let them be...and enjoy the ride they givins us with their lifes. The hardest working women out there? Uh no, that would be some of us ordinary folks, not these freaks. I'm glad Barbara told them what many of us are thinking; I wish she had asked more to embarrass them.
I love the Kardashians, I think they are the hardest working women out there. That being said I do wish that they would get another manager for their careers. I know Kris is a great manager & she keeps them working BUT I think she does that because she does get 10% of everything that they do make & I do think she pushes them to hard & that she's too hands on in there personal life as well as their public lives. I think if she was out of the picture they would be a lot better off personally. I wish them all the best of luck & I hope now that Khloe & Lamar are moving to Dallas & not so close to Momster that they get pregnant & that they see how wonderful & stress-free life can be away from Mommy Dearest. I know Kris loves her children but she needs to step away from them.
Bravo Barbara Walters! I remember back in the days when you actually had to have talent to be on TV! Now with all these reality shows, it seems America can't seem to keep the most ignorant and superficial off the television!
I, like Kim, cannot sing, dance nor act, but I have a VERY colorful, interestinÂg and loving family who does not DISRESPECT our elders, talk dirty or make SEX tapes...I do, UNLIKE, Kim, contribute to society by doing public service work and helping those in need, I just left a 6 figure salary job to care for my terminally ill mother (who has passed) and a father who lost EVERYTHING in Hurricane Katrina...Â.I have a daughter serving this country in the US Navy, I am WORKING to start my own business, and a 10-year-olÂd who is as charismatiÂc if not MORE than Kim...my point being..sinÂce we are a country who makes people RICH for nothing...Âhow about ALL you Kardashian fans (including PEOPLE & US MAG) send me a DOLLAR just for EXISTING?!Â!! Mrs. Walters anyone can learn to dance, sing or look hot, with a lot of face lifts and lessons. How may I ask did you receive your talent, a lot of hard work, I presume. Being beautiful and talented is not for everyone, at least she and her sisters are following their dreams. These women learned to stand on their own feet by hard work, clothing, advice and being who they really want people to see them. That is the hardest thing anyone could ever show is to show the world their true selves. I admire these young women, because they shine inside and out. Their beautiful mother, should be labeled a Princess and their father should be labeled a Prince to raise this family through good and difficult times....

I have to commend Barbara for her excellent choice of questions....They are really just living off their daddy's fame of being a celebrity lawyer of O.J. Simpson....Sorry but of all the sister's Khloe is the hottest and has the most talent as far as fashion. Kim is pretty much only known for her bigger backside in her "Reality Amateur Porn" and Kourtney hooks up with tools like Scott...
