Too hot to handle, indeed.
"Party Rock Anthem" supergroup LMFAO were forced to cut a concert in Honduras short Wednesday after a fire broke out at the Coliseo Nacional de Ingenieros arena were they were performing.
Ending their show shortly after smoke started to fill the arena, band members Redfoo and SkyBlu escaped injury, but TMZ reports 15 concert goers suffered smoke inhalation. According to local media reports via TMZ, authorities suspect the fire to the venue's electrical system was deliberately set.
"All of a sudden, right in the middle of 'Beatockin,' my manager Ian Fletcher shouted, 'There's a fire under the stage. We have to go!'" DJ Redfoo recounted to MTV News, adding that the group was forced to leave a few personal items behind.
"I didn't want to go! I didn't realize how serious it was. The security escorted us out the venue," the performer continued. "I hope everybody is safe. Honduras fans are true party rockers! This will go down in history as one if craziest Redfoo DJ sets ever."
Despite this week's concert interruption, the show will go on for the "Sexy and I Know It" duo, who will perform a New Year's Eve show at Las Vegas' Haze nightclub.
