Love and Hip Hop Wedding: Inside Yandy Smith and Mendeecees Harris' Live Ceremony

Yandy Smith and Mendeecees Harris get married in a live VH1 special on May 25.

Here comes the bride all dressed in bling! Love & Hip Hop stars Yandy Smith and Mendeecees Harris tied the knot in a live VH1 wedding on Monday, May 25 after eight years of dating. The entertainment executive and her music manager husband said "I do" in true New York style, and we're serving up the highlights!

The Guest List

Fun fact: Yandy and Mendeecees have a lot of famous friends. Mob Wives' Renee Graziano, Real Housewives of Atlanta's Kandi Burruss and singer/songwriter Ray J were among the celebs who watched Yandy and her fiancé get hitched. The couple were also joined by friends and family, including their children, 2-year-old Omere and 4-month-old Skylar!

All About That Dress

Yandy couldn't decide between two $25,000 wedding dresses by Pnina Tornai (#TheStruggle), so naturally she got both. "I felt like the God of wedding dresses had opened their doors and welcomed me into the pearly gates of heaven," the bride-to-be told cameras. Viewers voted to help Yandy pick a crystal-encrusted "bling princess" gown over a "royal queen" gown, and she looked stunning walking toward the father of her children.

Mama Drama

Yandy doesn't exactly get along with Mendeecees' mom, Judy, but they agreed to move on after some tension during wedding planning. "I think Yandy's a very beautiful bride and I'm happy she's coming into the family," Judy said during the live wedding. "I think it's a blessing and I wouldn't trade her for the world."

With This Ring...

Let's talk bling: Yandy and Mendeecees picked out fabulous wedding rings, and they didn't come cheap. Mendeecees' 5ct ring was $12,000, while Yandy's 6.5ct stunner was more than double –– coming in at $30,000.

Pretty pricey, but the happy couple's rings have nothing on their flowers. Yandy threw down $90,000 for her floral design, and Mendeecees wasn't thrilled. "The ring makes sense," he said. "The ring is an investment. You go broke you can sell it. But these stupid flowers, they don't make any sense." Yandy's response? "If I wanna go extravagant for my only wedding, just let me go extravagant for my only wedding!"

I Thee Wed!

Yandy and Mendeecees opted to write their own vows, which they exchanged in front of friends, family, and TV viewers. Mendeecees told his new bride, "I promise to love and protect you through all the days of my life forever," while a tearful Yandy said, "I'm a better me because you love me. I will never, ever leave you." After exchanging their vows, the newly married couple had a super-GIFable kiss and then jumped the broom. They're officially man and wife!

Yandy Has Baby Fever

Mendeecees might have an ongoing criminal case to worry about, but that isn't stopping Yandy from wanting to pop out more babies! "I want more kids," she told her man. "I want to have two more children within the next year or two." Mendeecees didn't exactly feel the same way: "You know I still have this case over my head. It scares me because I don't want to leave you to raise these kids all by yourself."

Mendeecees and Yandy are currently enjoying the new chapter in their lives as newlyweds, but who knows –– baby makes five?
