The Queen of Pop, 56, made a surprise appearance at the Coachella Music Festival on Sunday, April 12, taking the stage in Indio, Calif. during Drake's performance of his single "Madonna." She turned up the heat on the headliner, 28, as she sang "Human Nature," a single off of her 1994 album Bedtime Stories.
The moment started innocently enough, with Drake sitting in a chair on the stage as Madonna danced around him in a skimpy black outfit and over-the-knee black leather boots. Drake didn't know what he was in for, however, when Madonna decided to check off one of her longtime goals in the middle of the show.
"The lifelong ambition I still want to fulfill is to go on a dream date with Drake — and only kiss him," Madge told Us in March as a part of her once-in-a-lifetime 25 Things You Don't Know About Me interview.
She did just that and more on Sunday night, strutting up to Drake as he reclined and tilting his head back to meet hers. Madonna then went in on the rapper, gratuitously making out with him and inspiring a gasp from the Coachella crowd.
The "Worst Behavior" performer seemed into the kiss at first, stroking Madonna's hair before she batted his hand away. It seemed to get a little too intense for the Degrassi alum, however, when he threw his hand down and gave a strong grimace as Madonna finally pulled away. See more photos of the surprise kiss.
"Oh s--t," Drake said after wiping his mouth and covering his eyes with his hand. "What the f--k just happened?" He shared a photo of the kiss via Instagram, captioning the shot, "Moments to write home about."
