Opa! The trailer for My Big Fat Greek Wedding's highly anticipated sequel, My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2, was finally released on Wednesday, Nov. 11.
The Portokalos gang is back for more dancing, more family parties, and, well, more meat! Stars Nia Vardalos and John Corbett reprise their roles as Toula and Ian Miller, respectively. Years after first meeting at Dancing Zorba's restaurant, the married couple are now helping their daughter Paris (Elena Kampouris) pick a college and embrace Greek culture — and she's not having it.
"Why do you want to leave me?" Toula says in the clip, hilariously quoting dad Gus Portokalos (Michael Constantine) from the 2003 original movie. Gus quips: "Payback."
This time around, Toula will be helping her dad and mom Maria Portokalos (Lainie Kazan) get married. Turns out, their marriage certificate was never signed!
My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2 also stars Gia Carides (Cousin Nikki), Ian Gomez (Mike), Louis Mandylor (Nick Portokalos), John Stamos, Alex Wolff, Rita Wilson, Andrea Martin (Aunt Voula), and Joey Fatone (Angelo). Last month, the former *N Sync singer dished to Us Weekly about the new comedy.
"I think [Nia] did a great job with really putting herself in there and kind of mixing things up and sitting back and taking 15 years to write the script," he told Us. "I think it all paid off. I think it’s going to be really good."
