Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Recap: Yolanda Foster Hints at Marriage Troubles, David’s Busy Schedule

It’s time to Vanderpump-pump-pump it up! The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills are back after a hiatus longer than Kyle Richards‘ hair, and there’s so much to catch up on. From Yolanda Foster‘s battle with Lyme disease, to a look at her crumbling marriage to David Foster, to Kyle and Kim Richards‘ ongoing drama, this is going to be the most memorable season ever.

Also, it should be noted that new housewives Erika Jayne and Kathryn Edwards are joining the party. These lovely ladies didn’t show up during the premiere, but taglines like “I’m an enigma wrapped in a riddle…and cash!” have us feeling all kinds of blessed.

So, Lisa Still Hates Brandi Glanville

As we all know, Lisa Vanderpump is a huge activist in the LGBT community, so naturally she was asked to throw the opening pitch for the Dodgers’ LGBT game. This was a great excuse for Lisa to a) chill with some poor baseball player while he questioned the very meaning of life, and b) say things like “I’m a bit of a sexual athlete.” Lisa also mentioned that she’d like to throw a baseball at her former sister-friend Brandi Glanville, musing “We don’t cross paths now, which is a bonus for me. I’ve been a victim of her nonsense.”

Eileen Davidson, Fellow Victim of Nonsense

Remember last season when Brandi called Eileen’s house “American Psycho”? Well, apparently, she’s still upset about it. “Brandi saying those things about my home last year were hurtful,” she said. “But it also made me look at my house through somebody else’s eyes. Not to give Brandi any credit for that, but I do have to say, hey thanks. Bitch.”

Lisa = Highly Suspicious of Yolanda’s Lyme Disease

Lisa is so not here for Yolanda Foster and her Lyme disease. After an important conversation about expensive sunglasses, the British restaurateur complained about Yolanda to Kyle, and then took things a step further during an interview. “I don’t quite understand what’s wrong with her,” Lisa, queen of subtle shade, told cameras. “I don’t know if it is Lyme disease. I’m not criticizing her — I’m just questioning it.”

Speaking of Yolanda, Here’s the Deal

Yolanda discussed the current state of her marriage with husband David Foster, pointing out that his busy schedule and frequent traveling often keep them apart. The episode aired on the same day the pair announced that they are divorcing after four years of marriage, with a source telling Us Weekly that things between them got “rocky” after she was diagnosed with Lyme disease in 2012.

Sadly, Yolanda’s condition seems to have deteriorated since last season. The former model told cameras that she has reduced brain function and fatigue, and even questioned whether the struggle is worth it. “If it wasn’t for my kids, I would have jumped over the balcony already,” she told Cody Simpson‘s mother, Angie Simpson. “I just don’t know if my body’s strong enough.”

Yolanda did manage to make it out of the house for Lisa Rinna‘s birthday dinner, though her lack of makeup caused jaws to drop. “She does not look good at all,” Lisa Vanderpump said. “She’s got nothing on her face at all. Not even a little bit of under-eye coverup or anything. Maybe you could just take 10 seconds to do that.” Meanwhile, Kyle said Yolanda looked “horrible,” while Ken Todd added that she looked “terrible.”

Kyle vs. Kim

What happened to Kyle and Kim Richards’ sisterly bond, guys? Oh, right, years of barely under-the-surface tension/crazed dog attacks soured their relationship to the point of no return. Kyle revealed just how bad things with Kim are to Lisa Vanderpump, saying “I haven’t been speaking to her that much, to be honest. We’re not in the best place.”

Later, Kyle struggled with whether or not she should reach out to Kim in rehab. “I don’t know if she’s ever going to change, and I don’t know if our relationship is ever going to change,” she told her husband, Mauricio Umansky. “It’s a struggle for me just because I have this little voice saying ‘You’re being selfish by not jumping in and going to see her, and swooping her up,’ you know?” Mauricio’s advice? “Tough love.”

Tell Us: Do you think Lisa was right to question Yolanda’s medical condition? And are you seeing signs that Yolanda and David aren’t working?

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
