Susan Sarandon (Janet) and Barry Bostwick (Brad) were joined by Tim Curry (Dr. Frank-N-Furter), Meat Loaf (Eddie), and Patricia Quinn (Magenta) for the interview and photo shoot. They looked back at the catchy tunes, as well as Curry’s famous introduction as the mad scientist.

“One day I was on a London bus and I heard a woman say, ‘Do you have a house in town or a house in the country?’ And I thought, ‘That’s it. That’s what he should sound like: the queen,'” Curry, 69, recalled of his gender-bending character. “It changed everything.”

The costars also talked about the Rocky Horror Picture Show play, which debuted in 1974 and also starred Curry, Meat Loaf, and Quinn.

“I weighed about 315 pounds,” the “Paradise By the Dashboard Light” singer, 68, said. “I had on a garter belt with fishnet stockings and high-heel shoes.”

Sarandon, 69, fondly looked back at her time (warp!) on set, too, but she did have a bone to pick with production. “I got pneumonia,” she told EW. “The house itself had been used for other classic horror films, but they hadn’t put the roof back on. That was leaking and open. And it was December, January. It was winter.”

As previously reported, Fox is currently remaking the hit into a TV movie. The cast has yet to be revealed, but extra red lip and glitter galore are to be expected. After all, the cult hit continues to be popular with screenings where audiences participate and dress-up.
