While Teresa Giudice gears up to serve her 15-month sentence in jail, her teenage daughter is working on taking over the spotlight. A source tells Us Weekly the 13-year-old aspiring singer has been filming for her own reality show, which will focus on her girl group 3KT.
“They started filming two months ago,” the insider tells Us of the Real Housewives of New Jersey star’s daughter and her bandmates Alexa Maetta, 16, and Cristianna Cardinale, 14. “Its focusing a lot on the group at the other two girl’s homes and at dancing and recording sessions.”
Teresa, who was charged alongside her husband Joe Giudice on multiple counts of fraud this past October, managed to squeeze in some time on camera before beginning her Jan. 5 sentence. “Teresa will be on the show, but Teresa doesn’t want her and Joe’s personal [life] on this tv show,” the source tells Us of the project which hasn’t been sold to a network yet, adding that “Teresa is staying so strong for the girls and her friends are stepping up to manage the girls’ schedule.”
On Friday, Dec. 26, Teresa and her family showed their support for Gia and 3KT by attending their holiday show — which was also caught by cameras — in Freehold, N.J.
“She seemed very happy to be there — not sad or worried at all,” an onlooker told Us of Teresa. “Teresa looked happy and was applauding them. She seemed really proud.”
