The Bachelor: Was Eliminee Jenna's Breakdown Warranted?
Cue the waterworks!
Just two weeks into Ben Flajnik's season of The Bachelor, booted contestant Jenna Burke offered one of the franchise's most outlandish elimination reactions on Monday's show.
Arguing that she was "distracted" by the 17 other women in the house, the New York City-based blogger was unceremoniously dumped by Flajnik, given the boot along with financial advisor Shawn.
But the 27-year-old didn't go out without a fight. Just prior to dissolving into tears and launching into a full-on breakdown in front of Bachelor cameras, Burke attempted to justify her frenetic behavior.
"I feel like I'm a guy in how I act, so being around girls all the time is very abnormal to me in what people say," she told Flajnik. "I'm not like a girl, if that makes any sense."
Later, Burke was stunned she didn't receive a rose. "I'm shocked -- I came here looking for love, these girls distracted him I think I deserve love I want to find [love]," she rambled. "I think I deserve love, I have always been trying to find it."
Flajnik, like many Bachelor viewers, was left scratching his head after Monday's rose ceremony. "Some of these women are beginning to unravel a little bit," he said. "I had no idea things had gotten this bad, this early."
