Meredith Grey, Olivia Pope, and Annalise Keating just met their match. The next great female hero is here from Shondaland with the debut trailer for the upcoming drama The Catch

The first look at the ABC show made its way online on Tuesday, May 12, offering an intense first look at the adventures of fraud investigator Alice Martin. Played by Mireille Enos (World War Z), the badass detective catches liars for a living but her world is turned upside down when she realizes a con man has been pulling a fast one on her for an entire year.

Due out from producer Betsy Beers with her frequent collaborator, celebrated showrunner Shonda Rhimes (Grey's Anatomy, How to Get Away With Murder, Scandal), The Catch is hyped for a midseason premiere.

With a huge twist already revealed in the first two-minute teaser, viewers of the drama can expect the usual cliffhangers and shocking plots that Rhimes is now known for. The Emmy-nominated exec made waves last month when she killed off Grey's Anatomy's Derek Shepherd (Patrick Dempsey) in a now-infamous episode.

Enos, 39, will join the ranks of the successful Rhimes leading ladies, following in the footsteps of Grey's Ellen Pompeo, Scandal's Kerry Washington, and HTGAWM's Viola Davis. The Big Love alum will star in The Catch alongside Alimi Ballard, Damon Dayoub, Jay Hayden, Jacky Ido, Bethany Joy Lenz, Rose Rollins, and Elvy Yost.
