Chris Brown caused a lot of chatter at the BET Awards Sunday when he broke down in tears during a Michael Jackson tribute.

An insider tells UsMagazine.com the crying was fake.
Before he took the stage to belt out "Man in the Mirror," a backstage source tells Us one of Brown's bodyguards gave the singer, 21, tear-inducing eye drops.

Lets see how I can address your comment. Ok, I do believe Chris should be forgiven if he's sincerely remorseful. It appears that he has learned his lesson, but time will tell. It's not very wise of u to say that it's not his fault, but Rhianna's. No matter how angry we get with someone, we are not entitled or allowed to abuse or assault them. It's illegal & it's wrong. The person who is able to walk away is the "bigger & better" person. So, if Chris wants forgiveness & that's fine, he must now act as a Godly man & Godly men would never cause harm to another individual, especially a woman no less...not saying there aren't a few women who can't take on a dude, but violence never solves anything in the end. way back when i know you are aware that awaiting on the shore to do business with the slave traders in africa were other black tribes. surely you must know that in the south during the time of slavery in this country that 95% of the white population did Not own a slave. they could not afford to. also, there were free blacks living in the south during slavery. surely you are aware that not all slave owners in the south during slavery were white and that there were even black slave owners in the south during the time of slavery in this country. surely you must be aware that every black person in this country did not descend from slavery and africa. it is common knowledge that many blacks chose to come to america from other places in the world and live here. there were even blacks who fought on the side of the south in the civil war. surely you are aware that many whites assisted blacks in escaping slavery. you must be aware that many whites fought and died for blacks to be freed and slavery to end. you must be aware that many white assisted blacks during the civil rights movement. burt lancaster, chuck heston, paul newman, marlon brando were right there marching with sidney poiter and harry bellefonte.
way back when... you seem to know quite a bit about history. surely you are aware that slavery did not have it's origin in this country. i am for certain that you are aware that at some point in history every race has had a certain percentage of it's population enslaved and that at a certain point in history every race has had it's share of slave owners. Every Race.
people should be held responsible for their own actions: no one should be exempt. no one should be found guilty of the actions of others due to their skin tone/pigmentation/complexion/race. the actions of some/of a few should not be the condemnation of an entire race.
