Actress, fitness guru and political activist Jane Fonda was born December 21, 1937. The daughter of actor Henry Fonda and socialite Frances Ford Seymour, the Monster-in-Law star has two siblings: brother Peter and half-sister Frances. Fonda was bit by the acting bug when she appeared with her father in a charity performance of The Country Girl at the Omaha Community Playhouse in 1954. She later moved to New York City to find work as a model and theater star.
