Please............people. I was born and raised in Pittsburgh. Lived there 33 years, until just last year. (2005) Now I live near Washington DC. I don't blame Sienna Miller ONE bit. Pittsburgh is BORING. The Strip District, is there even ANY bars there anymore? They all keep closing down. Have A Nice Day, Bar Pittsburgh. Highest population of old people, the transportation system sucks (ONE metro, to and from South Hills?? Oh, I am sorry, I forgot about the Pat Bus, how fun to ride). Let's not go into the job economy? If you aren't in health care, you can forget about getting a good, decent paying job there. I have to laugh at the "no one in Pittsburgh" cares if she likes it here" comment. Uh...apparently a whole buncha people in Pittsburgh care, or this thread would never have come about. I was raised in Upper St. Clair and taking her there would hardly help. A affluent bedroom community certainly will not change anyone's mind about the "coolness" of a city. Nice homes? Great. Every city has nice suburbs. She's the type that's looking for Greenwich Village-type hipness and that's just not Pittsburgh. But more importantly, Pittsburghers should've just blown off her comments. She doesn't like it there? Whatever. I would like to make a point here. The issue is not whether Pittsburg is a happening place or not. It probably isn't. The issue is someone like Sienna coming to Pittsburgh and being really ungracious about it and basically kicking these people who live there. Sienna could try to learn something from the place or just try enjoying the quiet for once. It's not like she has to live there forever. She has a right to say whatever she wants, but she's picking on people who are living a life she doesn't understand.

Definetely apologize. I'm a born and raised "Pittsburgher" and have been to almost every major city in the US. Nowhere else compares to Pittsburgh. We are not a dirty steel town anymore and are growing every day. Our residents are all friendly and we don't need some spoiled brat like Sienna here anyway!
