Kelly Clarkson Shows Off Her Slimmed-Down Post-Baby Body in Yoga Pants

Jump for it, girl! Six months after welcoming her little boy, Remington, Kelly Clarkson showed off her slimmed-down post-baby body while promoting her new children’s book, River Rose and the Magical Lullaby, on Monday, October 3.

The “Stronger” singer, 34, shared a snap of herself outside The Ellen DeGeneres Show‘s L.A. studio, bouncing in an all-black ensemble, which included fitted yoga pants. “First stop on the book tour @theellenshow #riverroseandthemagicallullaby Tune in tomorrow!! Thanks Ellen for the awesome hoodie! Love it 🎉🎉🎉.”

The Grammy-winning American Idol alum also worked her slimmer shape while visiting Disneyland on September 21. She posed (with Cruella de Vil) in a short-sleeved black top and slim-fit pants, finishing the outfit off with sunglasses and an ear-to-ear grin.

Clarkson gave birth to her second child, whom she’s affectionately nicknamed “Remy,” in April. “Our little baby boy has arrived!!” she tweeted at the time. “Remington Alexander Blackstock was born 4/12/16 & he is healthy & [husband Brandon Blackstock and I] couldn’t be happier or more in love!” The couple also shares daughter River Rose, 2, the namesake of Clarkson’s new book.

While the “Heartbeat Song” singer looks happy and healthy, she has been the subject of body-shaming in the past, something she unfortunately finds the norm. “I love how people think that’s new — like, ‘Welcome to the past 13 years,'” she told host Ellen DeGeneres, 58, in July. “Yeah, I was the biggest girl on [American Idol] too. And I wasn’t big, but people would call me big because I was the biggest one on Idol, and I’ve kind of always gotten that.”

Nevertheless, Clarkson maintains a positive outlook on life — and shared an inspiring message with her fans. “It’s like, you’re just who you are. We are who we are. Whatever size, and it doesn’t mean that we’re gonna be that forever,” she said. “That’s the thing. Sometimes we’re more fit. Like especially me, I’m such a creative person that I yo-yo. So sometimes I’m more fit and I get into kickboxing hardcore. And then sometimes I don’t, and I’m like … I’d rather have wine.”
